Rita Chiappetta-Thibault - Chief Financial Officer
Rita Chiappetta-Thibault is a long time industry veteran, most recently serving as executive vice president finance and accounting for New Line Home Entertainment. She started her entertainment finance career at Vestron Inc. where she supported senior management in executing a successful IPO raising $185 million and later divesting the companies assets to a competitive buyer. While at New Line, her responsibilities included the Division’s day-to-day finance, financial planning and accounting functions, including all financial relations with the sister and parent companies. During Chiappetta-Thibault’s time with New Line Home Entertainment revenues grew from $150 million to over $1 billion. Titles released had production budgets/acquisition costs from under $1 million to over $100 million including Hairspray, Austin Powers franchise, Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, Pan’s Labyrinth, Rush Hour franchise, Just Friends, Shine and each title was managed individually to maximize profits. Additionally, Chiappetta-Thibault managed operations for many years including the DVD release of the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
